Dear subscribers,
we are delighted to have launched our monthly
newsletter! We’ll do our best to keep you updated on everything that’s
going on in our association.
Despite the difficult circumstances, Green Light for
Business has not stopped its activities and is being as active as ever.
Our K&R division has worked hard to promote
and spread knowledge related to sustainability issues through its amazing video
presentations that tackle various topics, including: urban agriculture and
vertical farms, ESG investment, the US election and climate change. The
presentations can be found on our IGtv feed and we highly recommend you
follow our social media pages so you don’t miss out on any of our future
content.
The team has also launched a new format of online Green
Talks, inaugurated with an interview with Edoardo Toblini, product
specialist at MUGO, a very special sustainable startup. An article of the
event will soon come out on our blog, so stay tuned!
Speaking of our blog, we have been publishing articles
every week on our website. If you have an interest for sustainable fashion,
we recommend you check out the following blog posts: our article on fast
fashion, a post about the Gucci Equilibrium and an analysis of the relation
between fashion and blockchain. Furthermore, if you would like to know more
about some of the latest actions taken by a few famous companies, you should
check out our articles about Tesla Batteries, Amazon’s commitment to climate
change, Procter and Gamble’s sustainability plan and the innovative startup
Bureo. You can find them all on our blog at www.gl4b.eu .
We’ve also just held an event on Black Friday
yesterday, November 27th, in collaboration with Bocconi TV,
during which we had a presentation concerning consumer behaviour during Black
Friday and suggestions of more sustainable realities that are compatible with
this day. A blog post about the event will be out soon, so make sure you follow
our social media channels to keep updated!
All of our events and projects are promoted on our
Instagram page, which also includes extremely interesting content. Our
Communication team has launched a new format, “unPOLLuted”, in which we
give voice to our community!
Don’t miss your chance to share with us your opinion
on different topics, such as plastic and greenwashing, by following our polls
held in our Instagram stories.
Did you know that G20 countries' CO2 emissions have
fallen slightly thanks to the increased use of renewable energies?
If you want to know more about it and keep up with
current environmental issues you will be glad to pause at our “traffic
lights”: with this new format we share with you the latest good, neutral
and bad news we think you should know.
Thank you for reading our newsletter and stay tuned
for there is more to come!
Best regards,
Alessia and Sara, Blog team Green Light for Business
